This paper, part of a project funded by the Historic Preservation Commission of Lowell, Massachusetts, explores the traditional crafts and religious ceremonies of the Cambodian refugees who settled in Lowell in the aftermath of the Cambodian Genocide. The events described in the paper were organized by the Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association of Greater Lowell, which was founded to preserve and promote Cambodian heritage and culture.
